Küçükçekmece Elementary School

In this project We designed elementary school out of old match factory in Istanbul / Turkey. We use old building to new purpose because of sustainable reason, also site is feasible to become school by surrounding and transportation. In design, we use different zoning systems. we have private, semi private and public in different levels in itself. In this way, the design focus on improving pupils skills and creating self-confident individuals by freedom and variety of spaces. Moreover, the design also focused on having natural light and natural air inside of building to have healthy spaces. In this way, we designed courtyards, openings from roof and opening in classrooms.
